Hesse’s first eco-brewery

A well brewed beer is proof of high craftsmanship and a good selection of various natural products. The Schinkel Brewery does not bear the title of eco-brewery on accident. One reason is the nearby location of University of Kassel, where students study ecological agriculture. In addition, the state-owned Frankershausen delivers organic barley for special beer and organic certified hops from Holledau to the brewery.
